One could think that Crystal Lizards (reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdgF87P8HDI) as we know them from Dark Souls 3 are aggressive, barbaric creatures without any sense of peace or harmony. However, as an apprentice of Oshabi who has a deep connection to the land and knows its creatures well, I revealed a secret only known to those who appreciate the beauty of the fierce and majestic Crystal Lizards: if you fight them -and you need to be one hell of an excellent fighter to keep up with them- without either of you drawing blood, the savage lizard will bond deeply with you, becoming one of the most loyal companions you can imagine.
But having a companion like that, you need to provide a space that is at least as majestic as he is as well as cozy and a bit mysterious. Due to the fact that the primordial blocks are imbued with azurite veins and the precious life force that spawns beast-plants in Oshabi's sacred groves, the beautiful space in the mountains high above Wraeclast proved to be perfect: lush trees and all sorts of plants grow out of fertile stones (which in any other place would seem strange), the old structures radiate the harmony and steadyness of nature being in unity with man-made stones. Roots and branches of the ancient trees hold together the homely halls. Huge, sparkling azurite crystals not only provide the energy for the place but also show the surfacing magic inherent in this bizarre yet awesome landscape.
As this primeval hideout is located among the harsh peaks of high mountains, the outside areas are mostly glacial; snow-covered and icy but fortunately close to a magma vein that provides fire and warmth. I am only an apprentice, so I did not manage to fully get the place in shape. Down below, near the sacred circle where fusings for sixlinked items, fossil- and essence-craftings in addition to occult rituals take place, things are still messy. But dear reader, I've planted a magic seed in the middle of this protected space. So if you stay patient and tread lightly, maybe one day there will grow a beautiful magic tree...
